Probably one of the best known military forces, The French Foreign Legion fought with the Free French Forces against the Axis in North Africa. Some legionaires did find themselves fighting with the German Afiica Corps, and there were cases of Legionaires fighting Legionaires.
Our figures depict troops form 13eme DBLE, who fought at Bir Hakeim. They are supplied in the famous Kepi Blanc, worn by Legionaires and Junior Corporals. Corporals and up wore Kepis of blue and red with various gold trim.
